Geelong Botanic Gardens, founded in 1851, is one of the oldest botanic gardens in Australia. It is celebrated for its heritage trees, many of which are classified by the National Trust.

Friends of Geelong Botanic Gardens provide a range of activities. Enjoy free guided walks on Wednesdays at 11:00am and Saturdays and Sundays at 2:00pm and don't miss special themed walks monthly on Sundays (gold coin donations).
Plants are available for sale on Wednesdays from 9:20am until 12:30pm at the Friends' Nursery.
Maps, garden highlights and self-guided walks can be found at the gate. Booked walks for groups are available via the Friends of Geelong Botanic Gardens office as well as occasional botanic art classes, talks and other activities.
